GPD provides task order services to Goodyear to support projects within the company’s world headquarters building in Akron, Ohio. GPD’s dedicated on-site personnel respond quickly to needs to help Goodyear minimize its operational spending. 

Projects have included design services for a new conference and training center, loading dock and exterior replacement windows; renovations to relocate facility maintenance and storage areas; as well as design documents for a new security guard house and associated parking. 

A recent parking deck project encompassed roughly 17 acres at Goodyear headquarters and called for lengthening the executive drive, extending a detention basin and designing a new courtyard entrance. As a previously developed industrial site, multiple utility relocations were required to accommodate new construction. GPD engaged with the City of Akron on the new rights of way and coordinated with multiple design firms to plan and build the new parking deck.
