Since 2013, RaceTrac has counted on GPD for architectural and engineering services for gas station and convenience store locations throughout the company’s footprint. Consistently exceeding client expectations earned GPD the opportunity to design a new distribution center for RaceTrac in Dallas, Texas, and to also design Regional Store Support Centers (RSSC) located in Dallas, Orlando and Baton Rouge. 

Each RSSC provides training facilities and regional support as RaceTrac expands beyond its Atlanta headquarters. There is space for sales associates to train in simulated store settings, several large–scale meeting rooms, loading docks that also offer warehouse capacity, open offices with supporting meeting rooms, reception areas, and cafés. For each facility, GPD provided survey and fixture inventory, initial programming and preliminary layout, design implementation, and permitting and construction services.
